Meet the First In-Mall Customer Service Robot

Sm Supermalls has #SMThingNew to offer its patriots. Its part of a series of innovations designed to help customer's mall shopping experience better.

SM Supermalls raised the customer service bar high as ever with the introduction of SAM, Philippines' first in-mall smart robot launched last March 28 at the SM Megamall EaTogether Food Hall - which is aesthetic not just in the food it offers but also in the interior designing! An AI (Artificial Intelligent) humanoid robot, SAM is programmed to deliver a smoother, more personalized, efficient and exciting interactions with customers - even kids!

 "Innovation is what SM strives for in providing better customer service to all and we are proud to introduce our latest innovation yet," said Steve Tan, SM Supermalls COO. "SAM is easy to approach and has answers to almost everything SM mall related, making shopping more seamless and fun for our customers."

Now roaming around SM Megamall, SAM will also be coming soon to tother SM Malls nationwide! SAM is designed not just to help with directions but also to provide mall information about the latest sales and deals, promotions, and on-going and up-coming SM Malls events! Equipped with an advanced face recognition technology, SAM can also make personalized greetings to customers once they enter the mall - I am so looking forward to this encounter. Let's see what SAM has to say!

Customers can also chat with SAM online through the SM Supermalls Facebook page. It serves as a 24/7 online concierge that provides important information you need to know like the local branch location, mall schedules especially during Holidays, nearest ATM locations and many more.
